Comfort Food

I do have a comfort food. Not just one comfort food though. I have different comfort food for different moments. Depending on the weather and what season it is changes my comfort food. During sports and activities my comfort food changes as well.
Although my comfort food varies depending on certain factors there is one food that seems to always give me comfort. My grandma’s homemade rice and beans always makes me feel good. Coming from a Spanish family almost all Spanish food made by my grandparents gives me a warm feeling on the inside. I love all of the food they make. I eat this food the most during the holiday season so I guess it could be considered my comfort food around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Around Thanksgiving and Christmas I also enjoy cookies. Not just any cookies but the cookies with the reindeer on them. They are sugar cookies that come in one big roll of dough that you have to cut up into slices of to make them cookies. They are by far the best store bought cookies I’ve ever had. They give me a warm feeling on the inside. They are the best when I eat them with a nice mug of hot chocolate and marshmallows. It is almost perfection.
A little during and after the holiday season is wrestling season. During wrestling I cannot eat a lot. I have to eat healthy and eat the normal portions a human is supposed to consume. Basically no unhealthy food is to be consumed, which in most cases in comfort food. Although I cannot eat junk I treat myself to one little treat. I always have Swedish fish with me during wrestling. They make me feel good and taste great, unlike some of my food. They give me the energy I need and all around just make me feel good.
After Wrestling season is over every thing that is edible is my comfort food. I eat until I become sick. Then summer hits. During the summer I am always running around but I would say my summertime comfort food is sushi. It is crafted so well and has such a magnificent taste. I eat it a lot during summer. It reliefs all the stresses of work and anything else I have going on. It is comforting because of its unique taste. It is different then anything else I have ever tasted. So many options and tastes to experience. It warms me to just think about it.
I think my comforts are what they are because one day they just stuck. I tried this food and something in my head clicked and it made me feel good. Ever since those moments these foods have been my comfort food. Ever since I was very young my grandma was feeding me rice and beans everyday. Now that I am older I do not see her as much so I do not get to eat her rice and beans as much. This is why I want it so much and when I get it I think of my young childhood. It brings me back to when I was really young and just gives me a warm comforting feeling.

?

I believe that illness is always around us. Illnesses are actually living. They are small organism not visible by the naked eye. When they find a host to feed off of that is when they become the Illness. At first they are just organism living there own lives. Then they become parasites draining the energy and causing another organism to become sick. Illness can contribute to the life span of people. Sometimes an illness will take someone’s life. Other times a freak accident will happen. When someone dies it just means it was there time to go. People can be mean. Being mean is a personality. Some people are mean and don’t really care. Others apologize for there anger against others. Sometimes people have a disorder that just makes them mean and nasty. Whether the universe is expanding or contracting is a very indecisive question. If the question is meant by the discovery of the universe then yes it is expanding. If the question is trying to ask if the actual universe is expanding then the answer is inconclusive. There is no set answer as to whether it is expanding or actually coming to a slow end. Things are beautiful to us because of the way we perceive things. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone sees beauty in a different way. A painting may seem beautiful to one person but ugly to another.
The word is full of questions some pointless and some very meaningful. Through my life I have had many questions. A lot of them may or may not have an answer. Some are the obvious questions everyone asks like why is the earth round? Or why is the sky blue. I also have more in depth questions. Why causes the earth to be round? What does the word earth even mean? Why do we live on earth? Why are there other planets then earth? Why is there an earth? How did we get on earth? Why is earth the only planet with life?
Despite my many earth related questions I also have questions about life. Why do we have emotions? What truly causes emotions? What causes us to think? Why is thinking called thinking? How can you think about something else when you are looking at something different? Why do we grow? Why do we strive for success? Why are we so competitive? Why are humans the superior beings? Why isn’t the world run by a different species? Are there other species on different planets? Why do we breathe oxygen? Why do we consume food? Why do we need food? Why so we need anything other then ourselves to survive?
Other questions I have involve myself. Who exactly am I? What if my whole life was actually a video game someone else was playing? What if my parents weren’t really my parents? Is my life a dream or reality? Why am I here?  In general why is everything the way it is?
I have many questions but I have one particular question that I would like to know. What exactly is a question?

family member for president

If I had to pick one person in my family to be a public officer I would pick no one. It is not that I don’t think anyone in my family is not suitable to be a public officer it is because I hate politics. If it were up to me we wouldn’t have a mayor, governor, president, or any other public office available. The government and politics are corrupt and I dislike them. I feel the people should run the country we live in.
To think one single person is suitable to be in charge of a certain district county, state, even country is outrageous. Everyone has a say in what occurs in the world. All these voices should be heard. No one person should make the decisions for hundreds, thousands, even billions of people. It doesn’t seem very fair. Also as a country if that person in control messes up we all look bad. The responsibility of a country should not be in the hands of one man. That one man holds our reputation.
Despite my hatred of the government there is one person I feel would be suitable to serve as an officer. Not so much as a president but someone who does have an important say in what happens. This man is my grandfather. If he was still here today I think he would make a great mayor or governor.
He was a very wise man. Everything he said made sense one way or another. Although he did not speak English his words were wise. They made me the man I am today. If others heard of his ways maybe this world would be a better place. If a man so great were in office there would be no room for corruption. It would not be needed. It would be as if everything was almost perfect.
I am not just saying this because I think my grandfather is one of the best men in the world. Many others agreed. Everyone who met him admired his wisdom. He was loved by all his friends and family as well as others he barely knew. He was all around a great, happy, nice, intelligent, and loved person. When it came to politics he always seemed to be right. Everything he said involving them happened our made perfect sense.
This Is why I want my grandfather to be a public officer. Actually I would rather not choose and pick no one. I despise politics. If I were to choose it would be my grandfather. He is the smartest man I know. Despite being smart he was a people person. He was very sociable and had a lot of charisma. Whether he was governor or mayor or possibly even president he would make a change in this world. Maybe the government would not be so corrupt and things would be better. I don’t mean to toot his own horn but he was truly a great man. In my opinion he is one of the best men to be in office.

wild

When I think of the word wild a lot comes to mind. The first thing that seems to come to mind is someone acting wild. By wild I mean crazy. Not crazy in the sense of insane but as something daring or mind-boggling. An example would be a man jumping from a moving vehicle onto another moving vehicle. To me that seems pretty reckless and risky. These valiant stunts are attention grabbers, which is what makes them seem so wild or outrageous. These insane moments make you say, “Did that really just happen?” These unbelievable actions performed by others and maybe even myself times are what leave me saying, “Wow, that was wild.”
Another thing that comes to mind when hearing this word is simply the outdoors. By outdoors I don’t just mean right outside my house. I mean the great outdoors and the jungle. All the free roaming animals and nature all around just seems magnificent. I would love to be right in the middle of all the wild animals. The dangers that lurk behind every turn and the amazing spectacle of the plants and animals all seem so wild and natural. Despite the fact of it being natural feeling and at points peaceful the real meaning behind it is the terror and fright of the jungle. The jungle is filled with killer beasts such as lions and tigers. These are no animals to mess around with. They have killer instincts. If they see something and they’re hungry they kill it and eat it. There is nothing calm and peaceful about that. It shows their true savage and wild lifestyle. Free roaming animals are wild animals and they don’t live by any rules. They could almost be called rogue animals.
The wild I feel I can personally relate to is the wild someone has within them. Everyone can be a little out of control sometimes. The thinks people think, say, or do aren’t always “normal.” Normal doesn’t even exist. I feel no one is normal. Everyone has a little wild or in other terms weird side to them. Feeling crazy and letting loose is showing your wild side.
Wild deep within someone can be a good thing and a bad thing. It is a good thing in the sense of someone letting loose and having fun. Someone showing a different side of themselves and being rebellious shows this as well. The bad side is the insane and bad thoughts that run through certain people’s minds. Sometimes people the there wildness take them over and it does not lead to good things. This is why the world is filled with crime and murder. Certain people just do not know how to control their wild side. They are stuck in wild mode and can’t get back to reality mode.
As you can see the word wild has many meanings. The one I discussed are just the few that come to mind when I first think about the word. This word can mean whatever you want it to mean. It all depends on how someone interprets it. I see it as something outrageous, the jungle, and a side of someone that lies deep within. It interpretations and meanings are endless.
